Weightspace started from a straightforward observation: learners in Thailand who wanted to develop real AI skills had few options that were both honest and practical. Most online resources were either too shallow to be useful or positioned as fast paths to outcomes that take sustained work to reach.
We started small — a few structured courses developed in Khon Kaen, tested with early learners who gave direct feedback about what was unclear, what was working, and what was missing. That feedback shaped everything from the way we write lesson materials to how we run mentor sessions.
The name Weightspace comes from a concept in machine learning — the space of all possible model parameters. It felt right: learning AI is about navigating that space carefully, not jumping to an endpoint.
Our courses sit in three distinct bands. The Coding Foundations course is for learners who are new to programming and want a grounded start. The ML Projects course suits those with some coding experience who are ready to work with real data. The Cohort Mentorship Track is for learners who want extended, guided development with a small group.
We're based in Khon Kaen, but our learners study from across Thailand and from other countries. All programmes are delivered online in English, which we believe is important for anyone who wants to work in AI seriously.
Our approach won't suit everyone. We set out what each programme requires, including the time and effort it takes, before anyone signs up. We'd rather lose an enrolment than have a learner drop out because the expectations weren't clear.

Regular Content Review
Course materials are reviewed and updated periodically to reflect changes in the tools and libraries learners are working with.
Direct Feedback Loop
Learners can raise issues with specific lessons at any point. Feedback is read and considered for the next course iteration.
Data Privacy
We store only the personal information needed to deliver courses. Enrolment data is kept secure and never shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Clear Course Descriptions
Every programme lists what prior knowledge is needed, how much weekly time it takes, and what the output of the course actually is.
Pre-Enrolment Conversation
For the Mentorship Track, we have a short conversation with every prospective learner before they join to make sure the programme is a sensible fit.

We include discussion of responsible development practices in our AI curricula, not just model-building techniques.
What Guides Our Work
AI development education in Thailand is at an interesting point. There is real demand from learners who want to work with modern tools, but the field is often presented in ways that set unrealistic expectations. Weightspace takes a different approach: we write our course descriptions with care, explain what effort each programme involves, and avoid framing learning as something that happens quickly or without real work.
Our courses are structured around skills that are actually useful in practice. Python fundamentals, data handling, model evaluation, working with real datasets — these are the building blocks. We don't skip them in favour of more marketable language.
We think good online education needs to respect the learner's time and intelligence. That means clear lesson objectives, code that actually runs, and mentors who give specific rather than vague feedback. It also means being upfront when something is difficult or when a particular programme may not be the right fit for someone.
Our programmes are primarily for adults in Thailand who are considering a deeper engagement with AI and software development. They may be career-changers, working professionals who want to expand their technical skills, or learners who have tried other resources and found them unsatisfying. All three of our courses are designed with that kind of learner in mind.
